Or… compulsive self-soothing.
About six months ago I started compulsively coloring with gel pens as a form of self-soothing for my PTSD symptoms. It works surprisingly well, but it can also become an obsession of its own if left unchecked. Life is full of balance, and even something helpful can unbalance it.
This particular picture I colored for my bestest friend (aka sister) and took me several days to get it just right.
